Haasan, will be honoured with the Life Time Achievement award at the 15thMumbai
Film Festival which is to begin on the 17th of October. The
festival is organized by the Mumbai Academy of Moving Image (MAMI) and
supported by the Department of Culture, Maharashtra Government.
Kamal Haasan will receive this honour as a token
of appreciation for his great work in movies like Moondram Pirai, Nayagan,
Pushpak, Appu Raja and Hey Ram. It must be noted that the French film
maker Costa-Gavras will also be receiving a Life Time Achievement Award.
The Mumbai Film Festival will be an eight day
long festival starting from 17thOctober 2013 to the 24th of
October 2013.
